Operational processes emphasize interdepartmental coordination, with Paylocity HCM used to produce payroll, hours worked, accruals and benefit reports for accounting and management, and to respond to inquiries from employees and finance. The HR function also coordinated with third party business associates and vendors for benefit billing reconciliation, background checks, and external correspondence with federal, state and local tax agencies while using Paylocity HCM as the central HRIS.
Governance and workflow changes centered on formalizing new hire paperwork, onboarding checklists, and recurring payroll procedures inside Paylocity HCM, alongside routine audits of benefit bills and documentation for compliance with wage and hour requirements. Day to day HR operations, payroll administration, leave administration, employment verifications and correspondence were managed through Paylocity HCM, establishing a consolidated Core HR workflow for human resources and payroll activities.
