In 2001 Winkels Getranke implemented SAP R/3 HCM to establish Core HR capabilities following a migration from SC/400 to SAP R/3. The implementation targeted Winkels Getränke Logistik GmbH & Co. Holding KG and aligned HR master data and personnel administration with the company’s logistics and wholesale operations in southern Germany. HR-PA was introduced as a stand-alone SAP R/3 HCM solution and went productive in June 2001, providing core personnel administration and HR master data workflows. In a second implementation phase Financials FI, Asset Accounting AA and Controlling CO were configured across seven company codes and went productive in December 2002, with 22 users initially provisioned for those finance and controlling functions. The project included explicit interfaces to COPA to exchange transactional data from materials management, warehouse and sales, enabling integrated profitability and cost postings across modules. The program was executed with All for One Group as the system integrator, and the broader SAP footprint later expanded to include logistics with a go-live on 01.11.2020 and 195 SAP users in the logistics domain. Operational scope covered HR, finance, asset accounting, controlling, materials management, warehouse and sales across the group’s four logistics centers. Customer reported highlights include modern information technology and high integration, reflecting tighter end-to-end processes between Core HR and operational SAP modules.
