In 2010, Wireless Matrix implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial solution, provisioning a cloud native instance to consolidate accounting and core operational finance processes. The Oracle NetSuite ERP deployment covered core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, order to cash workflows, procurement controls and inventory accounting common to consumer packaged goods operations. Configuration work emphasized multi book accounting, chart of accounts standardization and role based access controls to support finance and accounting team operations. The implementation was sized to the companys revenue and employee scale and operated on NetSuite's SaaS tenant model.
The rollout followed a staged approach starting with core finance modules and extending to order management and inventory costing to broaden operational coverage across finance, operations and supply chain teams. Governance changes included centralized financial control policies, period close workflows and approval routing to align transactional processes with the new Oracle NetSuite ERP environment. Operational ownership rested with finance leadership while configuration and business process rules were embedded into the ERP Financial application to standardize transaction flows and auditability.
