The rollout combined classroom training, training roadshows, on the job training, virtual reality training and e learning, and covered accredited programs mapped to the national framework of qualifications, aligning Talent Management with L&D delivery. Operational coverage extended across HR administration, payroll processing, store level rostering and expenses workflows, with Talent Management used to coordinate development and succession activities. Project management for the HRIS roll out was led internally, and internal communications and company brand values were embedded as part of the program to align adoption and governance. Governance changes included structured program management for HR technology projects and the introduction of standardized processes for training and event management tied back to the HR system. As an explicit outcome from the broader L&D and HR effort, Woodie’s was named Best Large L&D Organisation at the National Training Awards.
