In 2020, Wyndham Capital Mortgage implemented Gateless AI Mortgage as an Intelligent Document Processing solution to extend its automation footprint across loan origination and back office mortgage processing. The deployment was positioned within production operations to accelerate document-centric workflows and reduce manual intervention among operations employees, aligning with Wyndham’s ongoing automation strategy and continuous robotic process automation practices.
Gateless AI Mortgage was configured to provide core Intelligent Document Processing capabilities, including high-volume document ingestion, machine vision optical character recognition, automated document classification, data extraction and field-level validation, and cognitive robot orchestration to drive downstream decisioning. The implementation emphasized embedded mortgage domain rules and configurable extraction models to handle the variability and complexity of mortgage documentation.
Operationally the system was integrated into Wyndham’s loan processing workflows and back-office exception handling, operating alongside existing automation controls and RPA controllers to push processing deeper into loan lifecycle stages where document complexity previously limited automation. Deployment scope focused on loan origination and back-office servicing functions and was designed to interface with document repositories, workflow queues, and cognitive exception routing to support operational throughput.
Governance and rollout centered on extending Wyndham’s automation governance, with configuration controls, validation checkpoints and exception workflows to remove menial tasks from staff and tighten quality gates.
