Architecture centered on using Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as the transactional backbone for vendor payments and expense coding, with interfaces to specialized purchasing systems to preserve existing procurement workflows. Governance and process changes accompanied the rollout, including standardized invoice coding reviews, vendor inquiry handling procedures and strengthened expense report compliance checks under corporate policy. The organization also reported streamlined processes associated with several software upgrades to the JD Edwards environment, and the implementation supported ongoing audit readiness and financial close discipline.
