In 2012, Yoplait implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as its ERP Financial platform. The Yoplait SAP ERP ECC 6.0 ERP Financial implementation focused on order to cash and commercial accounting workflows within the Sales and Distribution scope.
Configuration work centered on Sales and Distribution functional modules, including enterprise structure setup defining Sales Organization, Division, Distribution Channel and Business Areas, and business area determination rules. Customer master configuration covered account groups, partner functions and partner determination procedures, with field-level controls applied as suppressed, mandatory or optional. Pricing was implemented using SAP condition technique components such as condition tables, condition types, access sequences, pricing procedures and condition exclusion, supporting standard pricing, price lists, customer specific prices, discounts, surcharges and rebates. Sales document processing was configured with sales document types, item categories, schedule lines, delivery and billing types, number ranges, item proposals and material determination.
Financial and operational postings were mapped through account determination procedures, account determination tables and account keys to align SD postings with finance. The implementation included configuration for inter-company sales and inter-company stock transfer orders and defined specific movement types for defective and subcontracted materials to control inventory flows. Credit control was implemented by assigning credit limits to customers in line with company policy.
The project followed ASAP methodology phases with planning, documentation, business scenario definition and team coordination, and included development and testing of end to end scenarios such as order capture, order management, order fulfillment and order delivery. Governance established master data standards, pricing governance and numbered transactional documents to support consistent commercial operations. Scenario testing and documentation were retained as part of rollout and operational handover.
