Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP n/a 2015 2016
In 2015 Yorkshire Building Society implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform to centralize Group Finance processes and transaction processing. The deployment targeted finance functions across the Broad Gate Offices in Leeds and aimed to establish Oracle E-Business Suite as the authoritative ERP Financial system supporting payables, purchasing, receivables, general ledger and fixed assets workflows. Configuration work focused on Oracle Financials modules, specifically Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Fixed Assets, with business change activity to align chart of accounts, subledger posting rules and period close controls. A named Finance Analyst role functioned as the Oracle E-Business Suite SME for Finance, accountable for application support, configuration reviews, patch testing and coordinating adhoc upgrades to preserve transactional integrity and continuity of service. Operational coverage included Group Finance and cross-functional liaison with business units and users at all levels, with workstreams that coordinated budgeting and planning interactions alongside Hyperion Budget & Planning. The implementation emphasized service delivery to internal and external customers, incident response for finance-impacting issues, and ongoing review of existing functionality to increase module utilization. Governance was formalized through the Finance Change team, which managed testing cycles, route to live for changes, communications and end user training. The team promoted continuous process improvements by progressing small changes, documenting workflows and owning resolution of complex queries, ensuring patches and upgrades were tested and implemented in live environments according to agreed turnaround expectations.

O.C. Tanner Legacy O.C. Tanner Culture Cloud Employee Recognition and Rewards Management HCM n/a 2017 2017
In 2017 Yorkshire Building Society implemented O.C. Tanner Culture Cloud as an Employee Recognition and Rewards Management solution to broaden formal recognition beyond customer-facing roles. The implementation was driven by Recognition Lead Michelle Elsworth to create a program that recognized service anniversaries across all supporting functions, shifting anniversary recognition to start at three years and continuing at five, ten, twenty-five, thirty, thirty-five, and forty years. The deployment centered on the O.C. Tanner Culture Cloud Yearbook capability and a companion service-pin program. Yearbook configuration delivered personalized congratulations, leader and peer messages, and photo attachments, with year-specific messaging templates for each service milestone. The pin program produced personalized physical recognition, encoded with the Society logo and tenure banding, aligned to the same milestone cadence administered through the Culture Cloud application. Operationally the solution was applied across business functions including customer service, HR, finance, and other internal teams, and the Yearbook process collected input from managers and peers to populate each record. The O.C. Tanner Culture Cloud implementation used employee service dates to generate anniversary communications and to trigger Yearbook creation, enabling automated celebration workflows and populated recognition artifacts. Governance and rollout were overseen by the Recognition Lead and included new processes for soliciting leader and peer contributions to Yearbooks. Early adoption signals were recorded within six months, with over 600 Yearbooks created, 3,700 comments added, and 1,100 photos uploaded, reflecting rapid engagement with the Employee Recognition and Rewards Management program.

nCino Legacy nCino Bank Operating System Core Banking ERP Services and Operations n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Yorkshire Building Society implemented the nCino Bank Operating System to digitise its Commercial Lending Department, deploying a Core Banking platform intended to remove paper-based processes and provide a scalable, flexible foundation for future growth. The implementation was completed in 90 days through a collaborative effort between Yorkshire Building Society and nCino, with an emphasis on rapid time to value and easier access to client information for faster customer responses. The platform was selected to adapt to changes in business strategy, accelerate product and service launches, and provide proactive, on-demand support to the business. Configuration focused on end-to-end commercial lending workflows, replacing paper-driven approvals and manual document handling with digitised processes and automated document generation for offer letters and facility agreements. The nCino Bank Operating System was configured to centralise customer and deal data, streamline case management and decision tracking, and surface Business Intelligence and insight analytics to support executive reporting. These functional capabilities enabled improved customer interactions and created broader roles for employees through richer, cross-functional workflows. Operational coverage was concentrated in the Commercial Lending Department, with broader cross-functional team efficiencies realized through shared access to client information and consolidated workqueues. The deployment emphasized a scalable architecture to support future growth and changing product requirements, while maintaining a focus on operational quality and control. No specific third-party integrations are cited in the case study, the narrative centers on internal process digitisation and platform scalability. Governance and process changes included elimination of paper-based handoffs, redefined team roles to leverage digital workflows, and provisioning of advanced analytics to the Executive Team for oversight. Since go-live the nCino Bank Operating System has enabled a phenomenal over 90 percent paperless environment and reduced time to produce offer letters and facility agreements by 75 percent, while enhancing customer interactions, creating wider employee roles, providing advanced business intelligence and insight analytics, and reducing operational risk and quality issues.
