In 2012, Ype implemented TOTVS HR as its Core HR platform to centralize payroll and HR process management across the company operations in Brazil. The deployment was executed as TOTVS HR (Totvs HCM 12 on Progress), reflecting an enterprise Core HR architecture that consolidated Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment and Selection, Training and HSE ERP modules within a single vendor application.
The implementation included configuration and administration of payroll processing, benefits administration, recruitment workflows and training administration. Concurrent talent and learning capabilities were provisioned through Cornerstone OnDemand, with administration of Cornerstone Recruiting Suite modules including Recruiting Management and Onboarding, Learning Suite modules including Learning Management and Connect, and Performance Suite modules including Performance Management and Succession Management.
Integration engineering was part of the program, with planning, development, deployment and integrations linking TOTVS HR to Cornerstone OnDemand and to Microsoft platforms implemented by the IT team, specifically Microsoft SharePoint 2019 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, and program discipline involving Microsoft Project for project planning. Integration work was supported by development and testing routines, with unit and integrated tests prepared and executed as part of system commissioning.
Governance and delivery responsibilities were held within the IT Systems area, where the team led GPD duties, planning and distribution of systems development activities, requirements analysis, business and data modeling, user interface mockups, and verification of product quality. The IT team also delivered administration work including training, support, analysis and development of customizations, using development tools and languages such as MS Power BI, Progress, Python, JavaScript and HTML to implement reporting and custom integrations.
TOTVS HR served as the Core HR backbone for HR, payroll and talent processes at Ype, operating alongside Cornerstone OnDemand for talent management and Microsoft SharePoint and Dynamics CRM for collaboration and CRM workflows. The program emphasized structured requirements, formal testing, customization and ongoing service monitoring without asserted quantitative outcomes.
