Greenhouse ATS was configured to support recruiter and hiring manager roles, approval workflows for requisitions, and candidate data capture consistent with an end to end recruiting process.
Technical implementation included embedding the Greenhouse ATS careers functionality into Zagster's website to route applicants into the Greenhouse ATS database, preserving application data and attachments for screening and interview scheduling. In 2017, Zagster implemented Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) to extend its Field Service Management capabilities. The initiative was led by a solo administrator at the startup, focused on ramping up Service Cloud for Rider Service while also assisting Sales stakeholders with existing Lightning Experience Sales Paths.
The deployment concentrated on Field Service Lightning and Service Cloud modules, configured for work order management, scheduling and dispatch console workflows, and a mobile technician interface for field activities. The solo administrator combined declarative automation with targeted Apex code automations to enforce complex routing logic and to augment Lightning Experience Sales Paths for sales operations, and Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) was configured to support those workflows.
Architecturally the solution was built on the force.com platform, leveraging Platform Events and Swagger OpenAPI schema to enable near real-time integration of moving asset telemetry into Field Service. Integrations were realized through no-code and low-code connectors into engineering node.js and mongodb data stores to surface up to the minute data for dispatchers and technicians and to propagate event driven updates into case and work order records.
Operational coverage included Rider Service, dispatch operations and Sales stakeholders, with the solo administrator driving configuration governance and phased rollouts. Governance emphasized a declarative first approach, selective Apex for complex automation, and API contract discipline using OpenAPI to maintain integration consistency between service and engineering teams.
