| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle NetSuite ERP | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016 Zoom Communications implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial system, positioning Oracle NetSuite ERP as the cloud-hosted financial system of record for the company. The implementation was managed by Zooms Enterprise Systems team, which concurrently administered Salesforce, Zuora, Netsuite, Workday, Mulesoft, and FreshService, enabling centralized application ownership across IT and business stakeholders.
Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured with core financial modules typical for ERP Financial deployments, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing, and was instrumented to support order-to-cash and revenue recognition workflows. Integrations were executed through the existing integration layer, with Mulesoft used for orchestration between NetSuite and commercial systems, Salesforce and Zuora supporting sales and billing flows, and Workday providing HR master data synchronization for employee-related finance processes.
Operational scope covered Sales Operations, HR, IT, and onshore and offshore Finance teams, with the Enterprise Systems group enforcing cross-functional change control and release coordination. Governance emphasized centralized configuration management, integrated deployment orchestration, and operational handoffs to finance and sales operations teams to support day-to-day transactional processing and ongoing integration maintenance.

In 2019, Zoom Communications and Traction on Demand implemented Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) as their Field Service Management platform. The deployment was positioned to give project managers end-to-end control of installation projects, enabling planning from initial design through installation and follow-up.
The implementation centered on Field Service Lightning capabilities, including Scheduling Optimization delivered through an optimized Salesforce Gantt chart, mobile workforce management via the FSL Mobile Application, onsite completion data capture, and embedded knowledge articles for technicians. Scheduling Optimization was configured so dispatchers could quickly find and assign resources for appointment requests while avoiding double-booking, and the scheduling engine was extended to account for flying time when booking appointments.
The solution was implemented alongside Salesforce and Milestones PM+, with Traction on Demand executing the integration and rollout. Milestones PM+ was used to orchestrate project milestones and planning while Salesforce Field Service provided dispatching, scheduling, and mobile execution, creating a linked flow from project planning to field delivery. Operational coverage explicitly included project managers, dispatchers, field technicians, and the management team.
Governance and workflow changes focused on dispatcher and technician workflows, with technicians acknowledging and accepting appointments through the FSL app and completion records captured onsite to drive project status updates. Real-time reporting and visibility into projects were delivered to dispatchers and management through completion data inputs and FSL reporting capabilities, and knowledge articles provided immediate access to installation procedures for field staff.
