Boellhoff Group Manufacturing 3200 $514M Germany Bpi Solutions Bpi BPM Insipre Business Process Management 2014 Bpi Solutions
In 2014, Boellhoff Group deployed Bpi BPM Insipre with implementation partner Bpi Solutions to automate accounts-payable and invoice processing in Germany. The Bpi BPM Insipre deployment, classified as Business Process Management, entered production in spring 2014 and centralized invoice intake, routing and verification into an electronic workflow platform. The implementation included document capture, verification and workflow orchestration capabilities, configured to recognize supplier invoices, apply validation rules and route items through multi-step approval and verification checkpoints. Configuration supported automated postings commonly referred to as "dunkelbuchung", enabling high-touch exceptions to be isolated for manual review while the majority of invoices followed automated processing paths. Bpi BPM Insipre was integrated with associated capture and verification tools to eliminate paper routing and establish a centralized processing hub for Böllhoff's German accounts-payable function. Operational coverage focused on finance and accounts-payable teams in Germany, consolidating previously distributed invoice handling into a single electronic workflow environment. Governance changes accompanied the rollout, instituting standardized electronic approval flows and verification controls and placing the system into steady use since spring 2014. The rollout achieved high automation rates of about 80 percent "dunkelbuchung", shortened invoice cycle times, increased transparency across workflows and reduced manual processing effort.
Deutsche See GmbH Consumer Packaged Goods 1750 $472M Germany Bpi Solutions Bpi BPM Insipre Business Process Management 2005 Bpi Solutions
In 2005 Deutsche See GmbH selected Bpi BPM Insipre, a Business Process Management application, and engaged implementation partner Bpi Solutions to automate accounts payable workflows. The selection occurred in November 2005 and the project kicked off in December 2005. Deutsche See implemented Bpi BPM Insipre together with smartFIX to fully automate incoming-invoice processing and related workflows. The implementation configured capture and OCR field recognition, automated validation rules, and workflow orchestration to convert paper and scanned invoices into electronic AP processes. The solution was integrated with SAP to move Accounts Payable into an electronic, SAP integrated process across Bremerhaven HQ and nationwide branches. Operational coverage included invoice capture, data validation, exception handling, approval routing, and electronic posting workflows supporting AP departments. Bpi Solutions executed the rollout that began in January 2006 and the project was realised within approximately six months. Governance changes introduced standardized approval routing, validation controls, and automated exception escalation to align operational process and compliance for Accounts Payable. The deployment delivered greater than 90 percent field recognition rates and achieved a reported ROI in about 1.5 years.
Meyer & Meyer Transportation 1400 $294M Germany Bpi Solutions Bpi BPM Insipre Business Process Management 2007 Bpi Solutions
In 2007, Meyer & Meyer deployed Bpi BPM Insipre, implementing an enterprise wide Business Process Management platform to automate invoice intake and accounts payable workflows. The program focused on operationalizing AP process orchestration and centralized reporting across multiple German sites. Bpi BPM Insipre was implemented and expanded with Bpi Solutions to deliver process orchestration, automated invoice capture and approval routing, and consolidated reporting capabilities consistent with Business Process Management solutions. Configuration emphasized standardized workflow definitions, automated routing rules for invoice approvals, and role based visibility into process state. The rollout targeted finance and accounts payable functions across Meyer & Meyer sites in Germany, standardizing approval workflows and enforcing consistent process controls and reporting across locations. Operational coverage included invoice intake and end to end AP workflow automation, with process telemetry and reporting surfaced to local and centralized finance stakeholders. Governance was structured around central process control within the Bpi BPM Insipre platform and implementation ownership by Bpi Solutions, with phased expansion of BPM workflows across sites. Vendor press materials from 2007 report faster throughput, invoices processed in 2–3 hours, improved transparency and better reporting across locations.
