Kamps Transport Netherlands | Transportation | 75 | $15M | Netherlands | Davanti Warehousing | Corax WMS | Warehouse Management | 2016 | n/a |
In 2016 Kamps Transport Netherlands implemented Corax WMS to professionalize and control its warehousing activities after a period of rapid growth. The Corax WMS implementation targeted warehouse operations and inventory control within the Warehouse Management application category.
The deployment established RF mobile scanning and real-time stock visibility to transition manual paper processes into digital receiving and picking workflows. Module usage inferred from vendor documentation includes RF or mobile scanning, receiving functionality, and picking functionality, and the Corax WMS instance was configured to support operational throughput in the primary warehouse. Davanti Warehousing documents the Corax go-live at Kamps at the end of September 2016.
Operational scope concentrated on warehouse and operations functions supporting order fulfillment and inventory management at the Kamps Transport facility in the Netherlands. Governance and process restructuring focused on digitizing paper workflows, instituting scanning based verification steps, and standardizing receiving and picking procedures. Davanti reports improved processing speed and inventory accuracy following the go-live.

NewCold United States | Distribution | 350 | $150M | United States | Davanti Warehousing | Corax WMS | Warehouse Management | 2019 | n/a |
In 2019, NewCold United States deployed Corax WMS at its fully mechanised coldstore in Tacoma, Washington. Corax WMS serves as the central Warehouse Management application for the Tacoma site, supporting core warehouse and cold storage operations.
Public case material from Davanti and ValueChain indicates the Tacoma operation was established in 2019, and the implementation focuses on cold-chain management and automation integration. Module usage is inferred to include temperature-controlled storage management, FEFO and lot traceability, and ASRS control, aligned with standard Warehouse Management task orchestration and inventory control.
The deployment integrates Corax WMS with ASRS automation and material handling controls, and it connects operational workflows with major tenants such as Trident Seafoods to improve traceability and efficiency. Operational coverage is site-level, centred on the Tacoma warehouse operations and cold storage functions, coordinating inbound receiving, putaway into automated storage, and outbound fulfillment under temperature constraints.
Governance and operational ownership are oriented to site warehouse operations and cold-chain management teams, with process control embedded into WMS-driven task orchestration and automation interfaces for ASRS. The public case notes improved traceability and operational efficiency as objectives of the Corax WMS deployment.

P&O Ferrymasters | Transportation | 500 | $527M | United Kingdom | Davanti Warehousing | Corax WMS | Warehouse Management | 2020 | n/a |
In 2020 P&O Ferrymasters implemented Corax WMS as its Warehouse Management application across targeted European operations, beginning with a rapid rollout in the Netherlands and a subsequent UK deployment. The implementation in the Dutch warehouse completed in two months from blueprint to go-live, demonstrating a compressed project timeline and phased customer onboarding during initial outbound operations.
CORAX consultants delivered a detailed blueprint of warehouse logistics flows and a proposed configuration that P&O used to organize inbound, storage and outbound processes in Corax WMS. The second customer on the platform was configured on site during the go-live outbound, and most implementation tasks including the majority of interface settings were executed by P&O employees with support from Davanti Warehousing, indicating the solution was practical for internal teams to learn and operate.
For the London Gateway implementation Corax WMS used the Excise and Customs module to support HMRC requirements for excise goods, registering fields such as commodity code, excise product type, excise rate type, alcohol percentage, quantities in boxes, bottles including content, and the eAD document number for received stock. Outbound workflows retain the original eAD source for picks, record destination and whether shipments include an eAD or require excise duty payment, and the module provides balance and transaction reporting for incoming transactions, adjustments and outgoing transactions within a defined period including opening balance.
The implementation included integrations with the customer ERP, SAP, for the new UK customer, with interfaces configured primarily by P&O staff and supported by Davanti Warehousing consultants. Corax WMS was configured to manage multiple stock owners and multiple storage locations within a single installation, enabling administrative and RF users to access one or more inventory owners or warehouses based on authorization, and maintaining real time stock levels per warehouse and across the estate. Following Rotterdam and the United Kingdom steps, additional warehouse rollouts in Germany were planned.
