Commercianti Indipendenti Associati | Retail | 13215 | $3.4B | Italy | Di.Tech | Di.Tech Open Finance | ERP Financial | 2016 | n/a |
In 2016, Commercianti Indipendenti Associati implemented Di.Tech Open Finance in its cooperative IT landscape to address point of sale accounting and centralized financial processing as part of an ERP Financial initiative. Di.Tech Open Finance was deployed to formalize PdV accounting workflows across the network, and to integrate invoice ingestion, document protocoling and archival into the cooperative accounting fabric.
The implementation focused on PdV accounting modules and automated invoice processing, including optical code labeling and barcode protocol registration, automated contabilizzazione and scheduled archiving for conservazione sostitutiva. Functional capabilities deployed included receipt and scanning of supplier invoices, automated transfer of documents to the CCS service company, PDF portal search and access, EDI document handling for CeDi shipments, and accessibility of documents to both PdV and central accounting teams via the Di.Tech G&CO and Di.Tech Open Finance components.
Integrations were explicitly configured with the cooperative ecosystem, including Di.Tech SIC Accounting, Di.Tech Flex for management control and budget, Di.Tech Analytics data warehouse, the existing commercial and logistics center WincorMersy, and point of sale systems Sailing Arete Market and XPos, with the Di.Tech EDI platform routing goods documents to the CeDi. Operational coverage included the cooperative headquarters, five logistics hubs across Romagna, Marche, Friuli and Veneto, 14 specialized warehouses and the network of approximately 230 stores managed by 157 associated companies, enabling daily electronic document exchange and centralized digital access.
Governance followed a process by process rollout starting with the PdV network and accounting, with project kickoff in November 2015 and a formal rollout from 1 January 2016, achieving 70 active points of sale for direct supplier invoices within two months. Outcomes documented by the cooperative include daily electronic document transmission, immediate PdV archival and online portal search, elimination of physical document transport between PdV and central office, automated entry of CeDi invoices into G&CO at issuance, archiving of over 500,000 documents per year and digitalization of approximately 30,000 PdV invoices per month, with two operational resources redeployed from manual processing to control activities.

Conad Adriatico | Retail | 9064 | $2.3B | Italy | Di.Tech | Di.Tech Open Finance | ERP Financial | 2018 | n/a |
In 2018 Conad Adriatico implemented Di.Tech Open Finance as its ERP Financial solution to support an expansion that included the provinces of Potenza and Taranto and the construction of a new logistics base in San Salvo. The implementation anchored financial operations to a centralized application while aligning with high automation requirements emerging from the cooperative retail model of shops proximity, supermarkets and hypermarkets.
The Di.Tech Open Finance deployment consolidated core financial management functionality typical of ERP Financial systems, including general ledger, accounts payable and financial reporting, and exposed integration points to reconcile inventory valuation and cost accounting with logistics events. Configuration work focused on real time capture of logistics movements and transactional interfaces so financial records could reflect automated warehouse activities.
Architecturally the project integrated a Structured Wireless-Aware Network SWAN at the San Salvo warehouse, including 80 Cisco access points and CiscoWorks Wireless LAN Solution Engine for radio management, with a dedicated application that transmits logistics movement data from the LAN across the geographic network to the central Di.Tech Open Finance instance. The logistics environment recorded automatic weighing of trolley loads and automated production of warehouse layout and storage mapping, and total integration between the logistics software and the ERP Ditech application was implemented. Conad Adriatico planned further network convergence when connecting points of sale via MPLS to achieve end to end integration between warehouses, retail outlets and suppliers.
Governance for the rollout was managed within Conad Adriatico Information Systems under Mirko Papili, emphasizing a stable networking infrastructure to support complex software dependability. Reported outcomes from the deployment included a very high level of logistics automation, integrated logistics to finance workflows, and improved operational management enabled by the Di.Tech Open Finance ERP Financial implementation.
