In 2015, IndelB implemented Ferretto EjLog WMS as its Warehouse Management solution to formalize automated warehousing and inventory controls across the group. The deployment was scoped to integrate Ferretto EjLog WMS with on‑floor automated storage and retrieval equipment from Ferretto and third party systems such as Modula and Compac in three group companies, establishing a centralized warehouse control layer for goods receipt, put away, and dispatch flows.
The Ferretto EjLog WMS installation encompassed inventory control, cycle count and slotting configuration, move order and kanban execution, and work in process handling aligned to pull, push, and bulk methodologies. The WMS configuration was designed to support order management and ATP checks for shipping, link to material planning outputs such as MPS and MRP, and enforce standard operations and cycle setups across plants, while retaining traceability for production reporting.
Integrations were implemented with enterprise systems already in the environment, including Oracle E Business Suite R12 inventory, order management, and shipping modules, and plant system integration work tied to Microsoft Business Central. The WMS was also integrated into the broader application landscape that included MES connectivity to Oracle E Business Suite R12.2.x, EDI messaging channels used for Delfor, Desadv, and Invoic exchanges with automotive customers, and middleware components such as Vitria, Tibco Active Enterprise, and IBM MQ family messaging for transactional orchestration.
