Mitsuuroko Group Holdings Co. | Oil, Gas and Chemicals | 1771 | $190M | Japan | Hitachi | FutureStage | CRM | 2014 | n/a | In 2014 Mitsuuroko Group Holdings Co. implemented FutureStage Sales Management System for Trading Companies and Wholesalers as the CRM foundation for a new group core system branded Mirai. Hitachi Solutions Co., Ltd. led the deployment of the FutureStage Sales Management System for Trading Companies and Wholesalers and delivered an integrated core platform that consolidated ordering, accounting, wholesale and retail workflows for the energy business. The implementation leveraged FutureStage sales management templates to standardize core trading and wholesaler functions, and included configuration to support industry specific capabilities such as LP gas meter reading and delivery operations. The project standardized the customer master, enabled complex unit price management required in fuel wholesale, and centralized sales and inventory data to support operational workflows across trading, wholesale and retail business functions. Architecturally the Mirai core system integrated specialized energy operations with standard ERP style modules for ordering and accounting, producing a single platform used by more than 30 companies inside the Mitsuuroko Group. Integrations focused on unifying customer information and inventory status at the customer level, enabling accurate and timely visibility of LP gas inventory across group sites while maintaining the separation of wholesale and retail transactional flows. Governance and process changes emphasized operational standardization through template driven configuration in the FutureStage Sales Management System for Trading Companies and Wholesalers, and meticulous handling of industry customs in pricing and contract management. Rollout was structured as a group level core platform, centralizing customer management to replace previously fragmented business-specific systems and to simplify ordering and customer information management. The deployment realized the stated objectives of centralized customer information management and accurate grasp of inventory status, delivering efficiency and standardization of operations across the Mitsuuroko Group. Going forward Mitsuuroko intended to use the Mirai platform to strengthen wholesale and retail sales capabilities and to visualize business conditions in a more timely manner. | |
