Baxi | Manufacturing | 935 | $472M | Italy | Impresoft Group | Impresoft NET@PRO | Manufacturing Execution System | 2019 | Formula SpA |
In 2019, Baxi implemented Impresoft NET@PRO, a Manufacturing Execution System, at its Bassano del Grappa production site to improve production process monitoring and traceability. Baxi SpA is the Italian manufacturing unit of BDR Thermea and the NET@PRO deployment targeted the manufacturing and production sector workflows for high tech boilers and heating systems.
The implementation of Impresoft NET@PRO centralized production cycle management from work order launch through data collection on line workstations to finished goods placement in the warehouse. The system assigns a serial number to each boiler to maintain product-level traceability across materials and supplier batches, and captures per-stage data such as materials used, lead times and testing results within the order sheet.
NET@PRO was integrated with the company ERP to receive orders for production launch and to upload finished goods and inventory updates back to the ERP, and it receives automated test outputs from dedicated testing software. The testing software integration automatically transfers electrical measurements, leak test outcomes and defect data into NET@PRO, reducing duplicate entry and consolidating line-level data streams.
Deployment and operational coverage included line workstations and warehouse interfaces at the Bassano del Grappa site, with implementation activities carried out by Qualitas Informatica alongside SI/VAR Formula SpA. Process automation reduced the number of data collection terminals on the line and removed redundant operator data entry steps, enabling statistical analysis of serial-numbered production data for daily monitoring of capacity, order priorities and quality performance.
As a result of the Impresoft NET@PRO implementation, production data became available in real time to management for planning and inventory control, operator data entry effort during testing was halved through integration with testing software, and product traceability was strengthened to support service and safety for end customers. The company reported an estimated ROI of approximately 18 months following the MES deployment.

Baxi | Manufacturing | 765 | $250M | Italy | Impresoft Group | Impresoft NET@PRO | Manufacturing Execution System | 2024 | n/a |
In 2024 Baxi implemented Impresoft NET@PRO as its Manufacturing Execution System to ensure traceability of boilers placed on the market in Italy. The deployment targeted the manufacturing process area and was oriented to deliver shop-floor execution and supply-chain visibility for production and compliance workflows.
Implementation emphasized traceability and genealogy modules, production order execution, and real-time shop-floor data collection to capture serial numbers, lot data and quality checkpoints. Impresoft NET@PRO was configured to record product lifecycle events, enforce inspection gates and maintain batch level traceability consistent with boiler traceability requirements. The MES instrumentation extended to operator workstations and line-side data capture to normalize production records for downstream operational use.
Governance centered on standardized traceability workflows and operational ownership within manufacturing and quality teams, aligning process steps to the MES data model. Rollout remained focused on manufacturing process operations and procedural controls required for placing boilers on the Italian market. The Impresoft NET@PRO Manufacturing Execution System provides Baxi with a centralized traceability record and improved shop-floor and supply-chain visibility.

Enedo Italy | Manufacturing | 58 | $46M | Italy | Impresoft Group | Impresoft NET@PRO | Manufacturing Execution System | 2021 | n/a |
In 2021, Enedo Italy implemented Impresoft NET@PRO, a Manufacturing Execution System to harmonize production flows and standardize shop floor operations between its Osimo (AN) site in Italy and its Tunisia facility. The deployment targeted production and quality management for a manufacturer of complex power systems serving telecommunications, healthcare, railways and defense sectors, establishing a single digital model for cross-border operations.
The implementation configured Impresoft NET@PRO modules for real-time quality checks, piece-level traceability including rework tracking, shop floor data collection, production sequencing and operational dashboards. A native multilingual interface was enabled to overcome language barriers across sites, and process automation was applied to enforce standardized work instructions and in-line verification at each production stage.
NET@PRO was integrated in a two-way manner with the company Microsoft Dynamics ERP to support real-time exchange of production orders, status updates and traceability records. Operational coverage included production, quality and operations functions, with centralized configuration and distributed execution to allow remote shared control of process parameters and monitoring across locations.
Governance changes focused on a unified, group-wide production model, with Enedo extending Impresoft NET@PRO to the entire group to consolidate scalable, data-driven operations. The project delivered digitized, uniform processes across Italy and Tunisia, improved product quality through real-time checks, reduced production errors, enabled complete traceability and supported productivity improvements and waste reduction as stated by the company.
