In 2018, Libra Insurance Company implemented Insurtix Policy Management from vendor CodeOasis as its core operational platform. Insurtix Policy Management was deployed to serve as Libra's primary Insurance Policy Administration system for end to end policy lifecycle, customer service and claims management. The company began operations issuing car policies digitally through the platform, establishing a fully digital insurance model in Israel. The deployment positioned the platform as the central operational system for issuing and administering retail insurance products.
The implementation included standard Insurance Policy Administration capabilities, including policy issuance and lifecycle management, product configuration and digital underwriting workflows, customer service case management and claims intake and processing. Insurtix Policy Management provided configurable product catalogs and digital policy documents to support rapid product launches. The platform supported automated policy creation, electronic customer onboarding and policy servicing workflows consistent with an insurer operating in a digital-first model.
Libra expanded product coverage through the same Insurtix Policy Management deployment over successive years. In 2019 Libra added home insurance products for apartments and homes, delivered in a completely digital manner through the platform. In 2020 the company launched digital travel insurance sold abroad using the platform, and in 2021 Libra introduced a dedicated small and medium sized business insurance product through the same system.
Operational scope centered on company wide policy administration, customer service and claims functions across Libra's Israel operations while the platform also supported cross border distribution for travel insurance. Insurtix Policy Management acted as the unified operational backbone for product lifecycle, digital sales flows and servicing across retail and SME lines. The architecture concentrated core insurance processing in a single Insurance Policy Administration platform to standardize workflows and policy data.
Governance and product rollouts were executed as platform driven launches, with successive product expansions delivered through Insurtix Policy Management. Libra was the first fully digital insurance company in Israel and in June 2021 the company was listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange at a valuation of one hundred and forty million dollars, reflecting the business scaling achieved while operating on the platform.
