The SutiExpense deployment was positioned to support accounts payable and joint interest billing accounting workflows, with the implementation explicitly tied to payout processing and expense capture for upstream operations.

In 2022, Sega Corporation USA deployed SutiExpense from SutiSoft as an Expense Management application to centralize and standardize expense report workflows across its US operations. SutiExpense was configured to operate as the company expense report workflow, with implemented capabilities including expense submission, receipt capture, GL coding and reconciliation templates, policy enforcement, and automated approval routing. Configuration work included metadata models for cost centers and taxonomies, role based access and application role configuration to align expense controls with finance and accounting responsibilities.
The deployment integrated with Microsoft Dynamics GP for posting and ERP reconciliation, leveraged SQL Server for centralized reporting and log management, and aligned approvals with the existing Kissflow payment approval workflow and BI reporting tools such as PowerBI. Data exchange strategies emphasized API driven export and import operations to minimize duplicate entry and to surface expense data into enterprise reporting and financial close processes.
Operational ownership resided with the Enterprise Applications Administrator within Sega of America Technology Services, providing second level application support, project leadership for selection and integration activities, and change management for configuration updates and patches. Governance practices implemented included monitoring and log management, backup coverage and verification, license and maintenance inventory, version control and scripted automation to enforce consistent deployment and operational procedures.
