In 2019 Cortem deployed Tecnest J-FLEX PWE as a Manufacturing Execution System to centralize planning and control of group orders across Cortem and ELFIT from its Villesse site. The deployment targeted end to end order orchestration, covering technical negotiations, procurement, machining, internal and external assembly, testing and final shipment timelines.
Tecnest J-FLEX PWE was configured to support production planning and control, scheduling, workload management and production reporting, with functional use by the Industrial Planner and the project office. The implementation emphasized capacity planning at internal and external labor centers, subcontractor capacity monitoring, progress accounting through structured reports and weekly planning meeting inputs.
The implementation operated alongside existing enterprise and planning tools and was used in conjunction with AS400 management software, ACG VISION 4 on IBM platforms, BOARD 8 business intelligence, Microsoft SQL Server and SQL language environments, AutoCAD 2D and ASA management software. Operational coverage included production, procurement, project management, sales coordination and executive review, with data flows supporting quote analysis, delivery time assessment and workload balancing.
