Melray Electric Construction and Real Estate 45 $2M New Zealand CraftingHR EasyHR Training and Development Learning and Development 2020 n/a In 2020, Melray Electric implemented EasyHR Training and Development to centralize employee learning, compliance training, and skills tracking for its 45 employee construction and real estate operations in New Zealand. The deployment focused on standard Learning and Development workflows, consolidating training records and manager approvals under the EasyHR Training and Development application to provide a single source for course enrollment, competency assessment, and compliance evidence. Configuration work emphasized course catalog management, training assignment automation, and certification expiry notifications, with role based access for supervisors and HR administrators. Reporting and recordkeeping capabilities within EasyHR Training and Development were scoped to support site crews and office staff, enabling HR to track mandatory safety and technical training across the company. Separately, in late 2020 Melray Electric integrated CostCon as its construction accounting and job costing system and connected invoice processing to CostCon via Lentune to automate accounts payable. That CostCon integration was implemented to streamline invoice capture and posting into job cost workflows, improving accounts payable efficiency and reducing manual data entry. Governance for the EasyHR Training and Development rollout used HR owner approvals and supervisor sign off for assigned courses, with phased adoption across operational teams to minimize disruption. The combined technology footprint therefore separated learning management on EasyHR Training and Development from financial automation on CostCon, aligning training governance with HR and operational owners while AP automation was governed by finance.
