Gulf Companies | Construction and Real Estate | 1400 | $300M | United States | Oracle | Oracle Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | 2019 | Infovity | In 2019, Gulf Companies implemented Oracle Cloud ERP in an ERP Financial deployment to address procurement and materials management needs for Oil and Gas pipeline construction projects. The initiative targeted procurement workflows, materials tracking, inventory control, and project costing to support Engineering and Construction operations within the Energy sector. The Oracle Cloud ERP implementation emphasized procurement and materials management modules, including automated purchase order processing, materials requisition flows, inventory lifecycle controls, and real-time analytics. The design leveraged the Oracle Cloud ERP single data model across financials and procurement, and incorporated custom-built application flows and automation to reduce manual tasks and support a lean operations model. Infovity’s solution design included industry-specific pre-built models and dashboards on Oracle Cloud ERP to surface the project and procurement metrics needed for faster decision making. Infovity served as the systems integrator, delivering the implementation strategy, roadmap, and industry-specific configuration. Infovity fast-tracked integrations with Oracle Primavera, Aconex, and Gulf Companies’ existing project costing and financials applications to align scheduling, document management, and cost tracking with procurement and materials flows. The integration approach prioritized a unified data model to enable strategic procurement and efficient materials handling across projects. Governance and rollout emphasized stakeholder demonstrations and solution validation against Engineering and Construction nuances to rebuild confidence after prior application failures. Post-go-live Gulf Companies obtained immediate access to project and procurement data to enable quicker, better decisions, improve supplier negotiations, and streamline material handling. The Oracle Cloud ERP implementation with Infovity is positioned to allow Gulf Companies to take on additional projects without adding headcount.

OPEX | Manufacturing | 1600 | $350M | United States | Oracle | Oracle Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | 2021 | Infovity | OPEX implemented Oracle Cloud ERP in 2021 to centralize financial and procurement workflows, deploying ERP Financial capabilities to support product R&D sourcing and production purchasing across its manufacturing operations. The implementation was executed with Infovity as the systems integrator, and the cloud deployment was structured to support engineering and purchasing teams in Moorestown New Jersey and Plano Texas. Oracle Cloud ERP was configured to manage supplier master data and procure to pay processes, including purchase order and request for quote workflows, supplier setup, and transactional procurement. Functional configuration emphasized New Product R&D procurement, bill of materials validation for items that flow to production, price to delivered cost analysis, and min max and lead time calculations to hand off items to reorder buyers. Integrations and operational coverage focused on coordinating engineering sourcing with existing project tools, with engineers using Confluence and Jira for project management while procurement transactions were processed in Oracle Cloud ERP. Supplier onboarding workflows included close collaboration with Legal to manage nondisclosure agreements and vendor vetting before sharing intellectual property with potential sources. The deployment supported over 150 engineers on site and served both R&D engineering groups and production purchasing management. Governance and process changes established a structured supplier onboarding and handoff model, weekly review meetings between the new supplier sourcing function and reorder buyers, and a single point of subject matter expertise for hard to find electronic components. Ongoing responsibilities after the 2021 deployment included expediting orders, monitoring vendor delivery performance to maintain the procure to pay cycle, and maintaining supplier records through the Oracle Cloud ERP supplier setup and RFQ processes.
