IT coordination included working with ETS to establish an automated reconciliation process in PeopleSoft, aligning treasury posting and exception workflows with county accounting systems. Operational ownership resides with the county treasury teams covering Tax Refund, Tax Redemption, and Self Insurance, with procedures for documenting NSF items and for escalating returned checks to division contacts. Emphasys Sympro centralizes treasury accounting activities, formalizes journal entry procedures for internal transfers, and provides audit oriented reconciliation trails for trust and operating account cash management. | |
