Apps Purchases: 10+ Million Software Purchases
Founded in 2010, APPS RUN THE WORLD is a leading technology intelligence and market-research company devoted to the application space. Leveraging a rigorous data-centric research methodology, we ask the simple B2B sales intelligence question: Who’s buying enterprise applications from whom and why?
Our global team of 50 researchers has been studying the digital transformation initiatives being undertaken by 2 million + companies including technographic segmentation of 10 million ERP, EPM, CRM, HCM, Procurement, SCM, Treasury software purchases, aggregating massive amounts of data points that form the basis of our forecast assumptions and perhaps the rise and fall of certain vendors and their products on a quarterly basis.
Apps Run The World Buyer Insight and Technographics Customer Database has over 100 data fields that detail company usage of emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain, Autonomous Database, and different on-prem and cloud apps by function, customer size (employees, revenues), industry, country, implementation status, year deal won, partner involvement, Line of Business Key Stakeholders and key decision-makers contact details, including the systems being used by Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 companies.

Hordijk | Manufacturing | 500 | $137M | Netherlands | To-Increase | To-Increase Dynamics Anywhere | Supply Chain Management | 2018 | n/a | In 2018 Hordijk initiated an ERP program that ran from November 2018 to January 2020, deploying To-Increase Dynamics Anywhere as part of a Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central implementation in the Supply Chain Management space. The program replaced a prior IBM ERP application and targeted core manufacturing and supply chain processes across Hordijk Packaging Industry, which operates 3 production sites producing extrusion and thermoforming products, injection molded packaging, and EPS goods. To-Increase Dynamics Anywhere was implemented alongside standard Business Central functionality and a set of industry add-ons to support discrete and process blended manufacturing. Configured modules include manufacturing execution and shop floor data capture via I-Make for production BOMs, routings and capacity-driven shop orders, Orderbase for graphical planning board capabilities and production optimization, NAV Anywhere for mobile scanning and transaction capture, Document Capture for purchase invoice scanning with workflow, and Jet Reports for financial and operational reporting. The narrative emphasizes supply chain planning, production scheduling, warehouse scanning, and accounts payable automation as primary functional areas. Integrations center on Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central as the ERP core, with To-Increase Dynamics Anywhere delivering mobile and scanning interfaces into transactional workflows. The implemented stack integrates scanning and document workflow directly into purchase-to-pay and shop-floor recordkeeping, aligning planning signals from Orderbase with execution records captured by NAV Anywhere. Operational coverage was explicitly multi-site, covering shop floor execution, planning, procurement, warehouse receiving, and finance processes across all three Hordijk production locations. Project governance was executed in collaboration with Axians as the associated implementation partner, following a phased rollout from November 2018 through January 2020 across the three sites. Governance included module-level configuration, rollout sequencing for planning and shop-floor scanning, and the introduction of invoice capture and workflow to restructure AP processing. The account-level implementation narrative positions To-Increase Dynamics Anywhere within Hordijk’s Supply Chain Management architecture as the mobile and scanning layer tightly coupled to Microsoft Business Central and manufacturing add-ons. | |
