The deployment centralized inventory, ordering and reporting workflows for a 1500 employee retail chain with approximately $320,000,000 in revenue. PDI Enterprise Retail Inventory Management was configured to automate ordering and to run daily data imports for vendor prices, invoices and EFTs that had previously been manual. Functional modules implemented included inventory visibility, automated replenishment and consolidated reporting capabilities, which were used to reduce occurrences of over stock and under stock. Operational integration centered on scheduled inbound data feeds for pricing, invoicing and EFT settlements, and a central inventory engine that normalized store level stock positions and generated order recommendations. The implementation supported merchandising, store operations and accounts payable workflows by providing consolidated reporting and improved real time visibility into inventory and invoice data. Rollout covered all 122 United States store locations and enforced standardized ordering workflows and daily reconciliation routines, reducing manual labor and shrink while improving real time visibility. PDI Enterprise Retail Inventory Management served as Little General Stores United States primary Inventory Management platform to strengthen inventory controls, ordering and reporting across the chain.
