Manufacturing | 995 | $240M | Poland | IFS | IFS Manufacturing Execution System (MES) | Manufacturing Execution System | 2015 | In 2015 Kuznia Polska S.A. implemented IFS Manufacturing Execution System MES as part of a wider IFS ERP go live in January 2015. The Manufacturing Execution System deployment was delivered by InfoConsulting and targeted centralization of shop floor and business data to provide management with up to date operational information. The implementation included IFS Financials, IFS Distribution including purchases, sales and warehouse management, IFS Manufacturing, IFS Maintenance, IFS Quality Management, IFS Human Resources and IFS Payroll, and the specific IFS Manufacturing Execution System capabilities were configured to record shop floor jobs at individual work cells and capture real costs of production. Product structures and technology routings were modeled to manage production technology, the variant option was configured to stage planned changes, and support for production amendments was enabled to return items to earlier process stages when required. Integration was realized across manufacturing, maintenance, quality and warehouse processes, with data entered in real time from the point of origin in production halls and toolroom operations instrumented inside the system. The IFS Manufacturing Execution System sits within the broader IFS application landscape, providing traceability for forged parts and linking toolroom records to planning and regeneration workflows. The project ran in two phases, a solution analysis phase followed by implementation and a period of technical assistance after production start up, with project governance driven by prepared management and staff together with InfoConsulting. Workflow mechanisms with defined confirmation paths were introduced to standardize process execution and to support operational approvals across production and quality functions. Kuznia Polska S.A. reported outcomes including process streamlining, data centralization, real time access to business information, effective manufacturing planning, full product traceability, improved warehouse management, effective cost control and more efficient quality and project management. The IFS Manufacturing Execution System therefore became a core system for manufacturing operations at Kuznia Polska S.A. supporting planning and faster response to customer requirements.

Manufacturing | 200 | $35M | Poland | IFS | IFS HCM Payroll | Payroll | 2015 | In 2015, Lumag implemented IFS HCM Payroll as part of an IFS ERP deployment that targeted finance, HR and payroll, manufacturing, distribution, quality management and maintenance, with InfoConsulting serving as the implementation partner. The engagement was initiated to consolidate multiple non integrated supporting management applications and to provide consistent, centralized data across the enterprise while supporting export oriented manufacturing operations from the Budzyń production plant. The IFS HCM Payroll deployment was configured to extend standard HR and payroll capabilities with expanded time and attendance reporting and payroll processing tied to personnel and shop floor time capture. Configuration work included parametrization of HR rules, adaptation of reporting functions for management and sales, and preparation of the system to accept production reporting through touch terminals, reinforcing payroll accuracy and workforce operational visibility. Architecturally the deployment leveraged IFS Information Access Layer IAL as the analytical access fabric, enabling multidimensional data cubes built from IFS transactional data and external sources including Microsoft Excel files. The implementation integrated with a MicroStrategy based business intelligence layer that delivered web and mobile applications, supported offline use, and exposed management dashboards, while operational connectivity was extended to warehouse terminals, task based WMS processes, B2B portals and Electronic Data Interchange flows for procurement and sales. InfoConsulting led interface modifications, reporting redesign and process configuration during the initial rollout and go live that followed roughly one year after contract signing. As implemented, IFS HCM Payroll and the broader IFS suite produced consistent information for management, simplified warehouse and inventory handling through WMS functionality, and enabled planned and controlled item rotation and unified reporting across finance, HR and operations.

Manufacturing | 200 | $35M | Poland | IFS | IFS Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul | Plant Maintenance | 2015 | In 2015 Lumag implemented IFS Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul as part of an enterprise IFS ERP deployment to provide Plant Maintenance capabilities supporting maintenance and equipment upkeep across its manufacturing operations. The project combined Plant Maintenance with finance, HR and payroll, manufacturing planning and operational reporting, distribution including procurement and sales, warehouse management with WMS functionality, quality management, and B2B and EDI communications. InfoConsulting configured IFS to Lumag requirements and parametrized functional modules for manufacturing planning, operational reporting, and maintenance management. The IFS Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul implementation included preparation for production reporting via touch terminals, expanded time and attendance reporting, a task based WMS for warehouses and partial shop floor inventory control, and a change in sales unit logic to pallet level to reflect logistics and handling practices. The deployment used the IFS Information Access Layer to feed a MicroStrategy based BI layer and to consume data from external sources including Microsoft Excel files. The BI solution provided web and mobile access on iPads with offline capability and a notification system, while warehouse terminals and WMS processes were integrated into operational workflows, and B2B portals and EDI channels supported supplier and customer communications. Governance and rollout were delivered by InfoConsulting as a Platinum level IFS partner, with the implementation team modifying interfaces and reporting and executing process improvement activities during the first phase. The project went live roughly one year after contract signing and covered the Budzyń production site as well as cross functional areas such as procurement, production, warehouse, sales, finance and management. By consolidating previously non integrated management tools into a unified IFS environment Lumag achieved consistent information and more efficient operations. The integrated solution delivered unified reporting and error tracking, simplified warehouse management through WMS functionality, and real time access to multidimensional operational and commercial data via MicroStrategy dashboards and mobile applications.
