Operational coverage spans finance, buying, merchandising and executive reporting, delivering branch and brand specific weekly trading reports across the retail estate and digital storefront channels. Governance and process changes included standardising reporting formats within IBM Planning Analytics, introducing automatic error monitoring and alerting for overnight processes, and embedding Range Plan user alerts to prevent missed ordering steps and data omissions. Sempreonsulting emphasized a service oriented rollout, supporting the IT and business teams through configuration, testing and automation until reporting and alerting met business requirements. Outcomes explicitly reported from the project include trading reports ready in minutes with data available in under an hour, automation that recovered the equivalent of 52 Sundays a year for staff, digital rather than paper based reports saving 30 trees per year, improved board level insight to enable faster decision making, and surfacing errors automatically so systems run more smoothly.
