Workday HCM was configured to manage total compensation, benefits administration, retirement pension records, and general employee services, reflecting the HR Manager for Total Compensation Resource Center role documented through 2011 to 2016. Functional configuration included compensation plan modeling and approval workflows, benefits eligibility and enrollment processes, pension data capture and maintenance, organizational and workforce records, and employee service case management consistent with Core HR functional patterns.
The deployment served HR, benefits, and payroll coordination teams as the system of record for workforce and compensation data. The architecture followed a cloud SaaS orientation typical of Workday HCM, enabling centralized configuration, role based access controls for HR administrators and managers, and standardized transaction and reporting processes across the HR function.
Governance and rollout oversight were led by the HR Manager for Total Compensation Resource Center, who directed requirements for compensation and pension configurations and established workflow and approval governance for compensation and benefits operations. The implementation narrative links 3M Korea High Technology, Workday HCM, Core HR and the business functions of compensation, benefits, pension administration, and general employee services.
