In 2021, A. Raymond Corporate North America deployed INFORM Add ONE Demand Planning to establish a single planning backbone for S&OP. The implementation ran at its Germany site and linked sales, inventory and production planning across a 25,000-item portfolio, creating a unified Demand Forecasting and Planning environment to improve predictability and planning efficiency.
The deployment configured INFORM Add ONE Demand Planning to manage SKU level forecasting, call-off predictability and inventory buffering, while centralizing S&OP orchestration. Functional capabilities implemented included demand forecasting and planning workflows, consolidated master data for items and demand signals, and planning horizon alignment between sales and production functions.
Operational integrations were focused on aligning sales planning, inventory control and production planning processes rather than on specific upstream IT systems, with the solution serving as the single planning backbone for cross functional planners at the Germany site. The scope covered sales, supply chain planning and production planning teams working against the 25,000 item portfolio, standardizing planning cycles and data flows across those groups.
Governance shifted to a centralized S&OP governance model with common planning cadences and shared KPIs for call-off predictability and inventory performance. The implementation delivered explicit outcomes reported by the customer, including nearly doubled predictability of customer call-offs, approximately 10 percent lower average stock value and approximately 10 percent reduced production set-up times, while reinforcing INFORM Add ONE Demand Planning as the Demand Forecasting and Planning core for S&OP.
