In 2020, ACCO Engineered Systems went live on July 06, 2020 with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its ERP Financial platform. The implementation explicitly targeted procurement and accounts payable processes, and the go-live included supplier-facing document and numbering changes communicated in a vendor training letter.
The deployment standardized purchase order formatting and internal job numbering within Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, with configuration rules applied to existing and new transactions. Existing job numbers were retained as a six digit sequence while new jobs moving forward were configured to use an eight digit sequence. Existing purchase orders issued prior to go-live were programmatically converted by prefixing 99 to the original sequence, for example PO 431234 converted to 99431234. New purchase orders issued in JDE were established to begin with a five digit length.
Document control was enforced through a correspondence reference field on the PO, where two letters denote a document type, followed by the purchase order number and then the change order number, and suppliers were instructed to reference that sequence on all invoices, packages, and correspondence. These document and numbering conventions were embedded into procurement and accounts payable workflows in JDE to support invoice matching and order change tracking.
Rollout governance relied on supplier notification and conversion rules effective at go-live, with the vendor training letter serving as the primary operative communication for external vendors. Numbering conversion logic and mandatory reference practices were operationalized at cutover to ensure consistent vendor invoicing and correspondence alignment with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP Financial records.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation | Compensation Management | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2019 |
In 2018, ACCO Engineered Systems implemented Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation as part of its Compensation Management tooling, deploying Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation within the broader Oracle Cloud HCM suite. The implementation is associated with a single Sr. Business Systems Analyst who served as the sole support for Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR and subsequent Compensation configuration, following a successful eight month Core HR rollout that moved the company from paper processes to cloud-based HR management.
The implementation encompassed configuration of Core HR linked capabilities and Compensation Management workflows, with the Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation application configured for salary administration, compensation cycles, and role based approvals consistent with corporate pay practices. The environment also supported Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service workflows, and was operated alongside Recruiting and Onboarding modules to maintain a contiguous hire to pay process.
Data conversion and operational integrations were executed using Oracle Cloud HDL, with all employee records converted for both Signatory union employees and Non-Signatory office employees. The deployment was delivered as a cloud SaaS configuration of Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation, with HDL used for bulk data loads and ongoing data administration tasks.
Governance centered on centralizing HR master data in Oracle Cloud HCM, instituting structured compensation approval workflows, and replacing paper forms with electronic ESS and MSS processes. The rollout approach emphasized a single point of operational ownership for configuration and support, resulting in a successful go live of Compensation Management in 2018 and ongoing support across HR, recruiting, manager, and employee personas.

| IFS | Legacy | IFS Field Service Management (FSM) | Field Service Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 ACCO Engineered Systems implemented IFS Field Service Management (FSM) as its Field Service Management application to support field operations across technicians, inside sales, sales, office billing and dispatch users. The IFS Field Service Management deployment was executed in multiple phases, including mobile client rollouts for Android and iOS and staged enablement of dispatch and billing teams to align with operational readiness and user training schedules.
Implementation focused on core service and sales client workflows, mobile field technician capabilities, dispatch orchestration and office billing processes, with project-managed backlog governance for IFS and HCM onboarding enhancements. Business requirements were elicited for service and sales client and mobile use cases, documented in Business Requirement Documents, and validated through functional prototyping and solution design sessions to minimize customization and cover exception flows, error handling, notifications and monitoring.
The technical architecture and integrations were coordinated alongside broader data and integration initiatives, including Fabric One Lake data center work, Power BI for reporting, Golden Gate Oracle tooling for replication, migration of integration jobs to the Boomi platform and use of an AWS Data Lake with Trifacta for data cleanup and structuring. Integration planning included replication and reporting considerations and coordination of hyper-care to ensure continuity of integration jobs and data flows during cutover periods.
Governance and rollout were driven by a business steering committee, formalized backlog prioritization, grooming and estimation processes, and vendor SOW coordination for enhancement work. The project lead managed risk identification and mitigation plans, facilitated stakeholder alignment across vendors and internal teams, and coordinated hyper-care and post go-live enhancement cycles to stabilize the IFS Field Service Management environment.
Post-implementation activity emphasized iterative improvement, with collaborative deployments of enhancements after go-live and ongoing operational support to refine workflows and onboarding. Risk management and hyper-care coordination were explicitly handled as part of the rollout to support a smooth transition for integrations and cross-functional users.
