Attendee-level capture and aggregate spend feeds were used to produce compliance-ready records for the Federal Physicians Payment Sunshine Act and related state reporting obligations. Governance and process changes focused on standardizing attendee data capture at point of event, enforcing manager approval workflows within SAP Concur Expense, and routing automated extracts to accounting for reconciliation. The consolidation of travel booking, expense reporting, and compliance data into a single Expense Management application reduced manual reconciliation steps and centralized oversight for regulatory reporting. Reported outcomes included a reduction in travel-booking fees by more than 30 percent and elimination of paper expense reports and receipt storage. Managers and employees adopted the single-system approach, improving consistency in expense submission and attendee data accuracy for compliance reporting.
