In 2014, ADMIN Partners implemented FIS Relius for Benefits Administration,Pension Administration to operationalize a suite of defined contribution and deferred compensation plans. The deployment centered on Relius Administration as the core plan administration platform and was populated with 403(b), 457(b), 457(f), 401(a) and 401(k) plan records and configuration profiles.
Configuration work included creation and governance of plan documents, adoption agreements, prototype 403(b) plans and summary plan descriptions, reflecting the firm responsibility for design, review, creation, modification and implementation of new plans. FIS Relius was configured to support contribution processing workflows, plan level setup, and administrative recordkeeping aligned with standard benefits administration capabilities.
Integrations implemented as part of the Relius configuration included on-boarding and operational integration of current and new investment providers with plan feeds, and establishing custodial bank accounts for individual plans to enable money movement and reconciliation. The implementation also established cash control and operations processes and enabled online web access for plan sponsors to view plan information and submit contributions.
Operational scope was centered at ADMIN Partners, LLC Cherry Hill, NJ and covered plan sponsor services, plan administration and reconciliation functions. Governance changes reflected structured plan document lifecycle controls and reconciliation workflows, and rollout activity included populating Relius Administration with plans and setting up custodial account connections used for ongoing fund movement and operational reconciliation.
