In 2010, Aeroflot implemented Lufthansa Sirax Revenue Accounting as part of a multi-year engagement with Lufthansa Systems AG, deploying the Sirax AirFinance Platform within an ERP Financial context. The program was contracted in 2010 to introduce automated passenger and cargo revenue accounting across the carrier and to modernize core finance processes for the Russian market.
The deployment included explicit implementation of Sirax/Revenue Accounting, SiraxCredit, and SiraxCargo modules, configured to handle ticket-sales reconciliation, cargo billing workflows, and credit management functions. Lufthansa Sirax Revenue Accounting was configured to automate reconciliation between sales transactions and operational flight data, and to centralize revenue posting and accounting workflows consistent with airline revenue accounting practices.
Operational coverage targeted the carrier wide revenue accounting function, encompassing passenger revenue, cargo revenue, and related finance teams across Aeroflot in Russia. The implementation established interfaces for ticket-sales feeds, flight-data inputs, and accounting ledger integration to ensure automated matching of sales to flights and to support downstream general ledger posting, without naming specific legacy or third party systems.
Governance was structured as a multi-year rollout under the vendor contract, aligning finance process redesign with system configuration and operational handover to revenue accounting teams. The project explicitly aimed to improve profitability by automating ticket-sales versus flight-data reconciliation and modernizing finance processes, with a primary focus on establishing centralized, auditable revenue accounting capabilities across Aeroflot.

In 2016 Aeroflot deployed OWOX on its website for Analytics and BI, establishing a centralized web analytics capability to support marketing and e-commerce reporting. This implementation supported customer engagement measurement and online revenue analysis across the carrier's digital channels.
The OWOX deployment focused on site level instrumentation, event tracking, and continuous data pipelines that ingest, transform, and model web event data for analysis. Functional capabilities implemented reflect core Analytics and BI workflows, including data collection, sessionization, conversion funnel modeling, attribution ready event schemas, and dashboarding for marketing and revenue stakeholders.
Architecturally the implementation aligns with cloud hosted analytics platforms, combining client side collection and server side processing into centralized data stores to feed reporting workflows. Operational coverage centered on the corporate website and digital channels, with ownership and governance routed through digital analytics and marketing operations to standardize event taxonomy and reporting cadence.

| Bitfury | Legacy | Bitfury Exonum | Blockchain Platform | Blockchain | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 Aeroflot partnered with Innopolis University and Bitfury to develop a verified distributed ledger platform, deploying Bitfury Exonum as the core technology for a Blockchain Platform. The program was funded at 600 million rubles and scoped as a 2020 to 2021 development phase with plans to operationalize the technology across six industries by 2021 and eight industries by 2022, while training specialist personnel and filing patents and models to support commercialization.
The implementation centered on formal verification capabilities, with Innopolis developing a specialized programming language and a verified compiler, and Bitfury Exonum providing the blockchain engine and cryptographic protocols. Functional modules described for the system include formal verification of smart contracts, an automated smart contract audit capability reported to reduce audit time to three minutes, cryptographic methods and protocols for domestic security compliance, and application-level support for data integrity in medical records, education credentials, and product marking.
Integration work targeted Aeroflot operational pilots and regional public systems, specifically integration of Bitfury Exonum with an Aeroflot pilot for aircraft refueling stations and collaboration with the Republic of Tatarstan on a strategic partnership. The rollout plan named the Ministry of Health for medical data storage, oil and gas firms for production accounting, and engineering firms for marking and licensing of vehicles and spare parts, while academic partners included multiple universities and research institutes to contribute verification methods and mathematical modeling.
Governance and delivery were organized through the Innopolis center designated as a leading research center for blockchain by the national digital development agency, with Bitfury Group supplying integration expertise. The project documentation emphasized meeting domestic safety requirements and projected training of 40 higher education specialists, registration of six patents, and development of twelve mathematical models, and it positioned Bitfury Exonum as the platform implementing formally verified smart contract and distributed ledger capabilities for Aeroflot and participating industries.
