In 2025, Afelio adopted Overflow.io within its Belgium-based UX and strategy practice to standardize visual workflow and handoff artifacts. Afelio implemented Overflow.io as a Collaboration tool to accelerate early-stage ideation, developer handoffs, and client presentations across its design and product teams.
The implementation centered on Overflow.io's specialized diagramming and flow documentation capabilities, configured to capture wireframes, user flows, and presentation-ready sequences. The UX and strategy team used the Sketch integration to import finished screens into diagram sequences, producing combined artifacts that link static screens with interaction maps for clearer design communication during handoff.
Operational scope focused on Afelio's UX/strategy group and adjacent design and product functions, with repeated use in client-facing presentations and engineering handoffs. The Sketch integration is the explicit systems tie, used to incorporate high fidelity screens into Overflow.io outputs for developer-facing deliverables and stakeholder reviews.
Governance and rollout emphasized embedding Overflow.io into early-stage workflows as a design practice standard rather than an enterprise wide system change, and adoption was managed at the practice level. Afelio reported substantial time savings, stating their old process now takes roughly 1.5x longer than with Overflow, which frames the reported benefit from this Collaboration deployment.
