In 2019, Agrani Bank implemented Temenos T24 as its Core Banking platform. The program was established as a bank wide core banking initiative with executive oversight from the Chief Information Technology Officer and a designated Project Director for the Core Banking System, noting work associated with Temenos T24 Release 22.
Temenos T24 was configured to deliver foundational Core Banking capabilities, including account management, deposit processing, loan lifecycle management, payment processing, general ledger posting, and automated reconciliation workflows. Configuration work focused on product definition, transaction posting rules, and reconciliation orchestration to support the bank's payment cards and agent banking operations.
Operational coverage for the implementation included the Information Technology Division, MIS and CIB functions, the Payment Cards Division, the Agent Banking Division, and the Reconciliation Division, aligning Temenos T24 transaction processing and back office posting to those business functions. The deployment centralized core account processing and reconciliation responsibilities within the Temenos T24 application, enabling consistent processing rules and operational handoffs across divisions.
Governance was structured with the Chief Information Technology Officer overseeing the program and a Project Director accountable for implementation delivery and release management, reflecting formal change control, testing cycles, and configuration governance tied to Temenos T24 Release 22. Rollout and operational handover responsibilities were coordinated between IT and business units to institutionalize ongoing application support and release discipline.
