SAP Legacy SAP Concur Expense Expense Management ERP Financial Management n/a 2016 2016
In 2016 AIDS Healthcare Foundation implemented SAP Concur Expense to establish centralized Expense Management for tracking employee spending. The project was initiated by creating a comprehensive user file and a credit card file to onboard employees and corporate cards into SAP Concur Expense and to enable accurate tracking of employee expenses. Configuration work focused on expense reporting workflows, employee profile provisioning, and credit card transaction mapping for automated reconciliation. The comprehensive user file was used to provision roles, define approval hierarchies, and assign cost center and department attributes, while the credit card file was configured to support card import, statement matching, and cardholder mapping within SAP Concur Expense. Operational ownership aligned with finance and travel functions, with SAP Concur Expense supporting centralized policy enforcement, approval workflow orchestration, and audit trail requirements. Data onboarding and ongoing card feed management were established as core governance activities to maintain the integrity of expense reporting and card reconciliation processes.
