Epicor Legacy Epicor ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2013 2013
In 2013 Air Niugini implemented Epicor ERP as an ERP Financial platform to centralize fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure controls across departmental finance functions. The deployment focused on establishing an enterprise asset register to record assets into respective categories, capture location, original price, purchase date and the date put into use. Epicor ERP was configured to support fixed assets master data, capital expenditure sheet maintenance for departmental purchasing, and formal asset disposal processing. The capital expenditure sheet is used by departments to request purchases against budget, with many purchases noted as occurring outside approved budgets during the financial year. Asset disposal and book value determination are processed inside the Epicor ERP PX Finance System module, with disposal postings contingent on an approval form signed by GM Finance, the Department Manager and the CEO. Financial reconciliation workflows were implemented to reconcile the asset clearing account, the loan repayment account for a residential building and other specified accounts. Operational coverage includes departmental finance teams and on-site asset custodians, with a governance program requiring yearly on-site verification of assets to confirm they are in use and properly maintained by users. Approval routing, asset verification schedules and lifecycle record updates were embedded into Epicor ERP to align asset management events with financial posting controls.

The implementation explicitly focused on linking distributed sites into a cloud-accessible network fabric to support the airline's global workforce. SITA Connect Go delivered cloud connectivity and secure WAN capabilities consistent with Airport Management connectivity solutions, enabling centralized management of connectivity and security policies by IT and network operations. Operational coverage included six international airport sites and regional sales offices, with integrations to the carrier's head office systems and cloud-hosted applications as part of the rollout. Air Niugini reported roughly a forty-fold increase in average bandwidth and noted improved productivity and flexibility for users as part of the deployment outcomes.

Contentsquare Legacy Hotjar Customer Experience CRM n/a 2020 2020
In 2020 Air Niugini deployed Hotjar on its public website to capture web behavior as part of its Customer Experience tooling. The deployment centers on Hotjar as the primary on-site behavioral analytics and feedback tool, positioned to support digital experience, UX, and marketing functions across the airline's web channels. The implementation emphasizes Hotjar capabilities commonly used for web experience analysis, including session recordings, heatmaps, conversion funnel observation, and on-site feedback and survey widgets. Hotjar was configured to instrument key pages and flows on the website, enabling qualitative behavioral data capture and structured visitor feedback to inform UX and content decisions. Architecturally the implementation follows a client-side instrumentation model, with the Hotjar JavaScript snippet embedded in the site to stream session and event data to the vendor dashboard. Operational ownership rests with the digital and UX teams, with outputs consumed by marketing, product, and customer service stakeholders to contextualize customer journeys on the web. Governance focused on establishing a regular review cadence and centralized access to Hotjar output for the core digital team, enabling structured analysis and prioritization of site issues and UX experiments. The narrative links Air Niugini, Hotjar, Customer Experience and digital experience management, reflecting the application of on-site behavioral analytics to airline web channels.
