Epicor Legacy Epicor ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2013 2014
In 2013, Air Techniques implemented Epicor ERP. The deployment targeted ERP Financial capabilities and focused on embedding commission calculation and territory management workflows within the Epicor ERP application. The implementation refined sales commissions models developed during a consulting engagement and automated core compensation calculations. Forecasted territory sales and commissions by zip code were used to finalize sales territory boundaries, and the system automated computation of sales allocation keys per distributor and territory to support split sales calculations. Epicor ERP was configured to generate structured monthly and quarterly commissions statements with embedded performance graphs and underlying sales records for Territory and Regional Sales Managers. Data integration work extracted transactional and allocation data from the Epicor ERP backend for import into Salesforce, enabling CRM-level visibility of commission-related records. The project team worked with the Jedox team to incorporate forecasting and commission results into the Jedox planning tool, creating a connected reporting and planning loop. A separate SharePoint 2016 intranet site was created with customized Master Pages and web parts, flyout menus, breadcrumb trails and graphics to distribute statements and reports to sales leadership and distributors. Process and governance changes accompanied the technical work, with territory boundaries finalized using zip code forecasting and a cadence established for monthly and quarterly commission reporting. Automated allocation key logic reduced manual split calculations and formalized the workflow for producing commission statements and supporting documentation for sales and distribution stakeholders.
