Operational coverage included procurement operations in Stamford, Connecticut and Bridgeport, Connecticut where the Procurement Manager led a team of three and reported centrally to the CEO on major procurement decisions. The ERP Financial instance supported importation processes for marble, porcelain, and glass tiles, and was used alongside C-TPAT compliance activities and communications with US Customs and Border Protection as part of procurement and logistics workflows. Governance and process changes emphasized centralized purchase order review and quality control within the procurement function, negotiated vendor contract and pricing workflows, and cross functional forecasting with commercial procurement and product development teams. Sage 500 ERP, as the named application, served as the data backbone for procurement decisioning, inventory tracking, and financial record keeping for AKDO Intertrade.
