In 2015, Al Ghurair Investment LLC implemented Oracle Cloud HCM. Oracle Cloud HCM was adopted as the company Core HR application to centralize employee records and HR transaction processing for approximately 15,000 employees in the United Arab Emirates.
The implementation encompassed multiple Oracle products, with explicit program ownership for Oracle ERP-HCM, Fusion HCM, Taleo, and Hyperion Workforce Planning. Oracle Cloud HCM and Fusion HCM provided core HR configuration and transactional HR capabilities, Taleo served talent acquisition and recruitment workflows, and Hyperion Workforce Planning addressed headcount modeling and planning use cases.
Functionally the rollout targeted HR, talent acquisition, and workforce planning processes across corporate and business unit HR teams, aligning the Core HR system of record with talent and planning modules. The Oracle modules were integrated within the vendor suite to enable shared master data and role-based access across those HR functions, preserving a coordinated data model between workforce planning and operational HR records.
Governance was organized under a named project manager responsible for Oracle ERP-HCM, Fusion HCM, Taleo, and Hyperion Workforce Planning, who led configuration, testing, and phased deployment activities. Process standardization and role-based workflow definitions were established to support the new Core HR operating model, and implementation artifacts focused on configuration baselines, test plans, and cutover coordination.
