Modula Legacy Modula WMS Warehouse Management SCM n/a 2024 2024
In 2024 All Sport Group implemented Modula WMS and installed six Modula VLMs to optimize inventory density and order picking in its European distribution operations. The deployment targeted Benelux and broader Europe, positioning Modula WMS as the Warehouse Management application to centralize vertical storage and accelerate goods-to-person picking workflows for the distribution function. Modula WMS was configured to orchestrate the six Modula vertical lift modules, consolidate inventory into high-density vertical racks, and manage pick assignments and bin replenishment within the Warehouse Management scope. The rollout covered All Sport Group distribution sites across Benelux and Europe and required operational restructuring of picking workflows to align with a goods-to-picker model. The implementation produced explicit operational outcomes, delivering roughly a five-fold increase in storage capacity and increasing picks per hour per person from about 40 to about 150.
