In 2018, Allied Services initiated an IT-led migration from Workforce Central 7.0 to UKG Dimensions HR (ex Kronos Workforce Dimensions Core HR). The Kronos IT administrator role began January 1, 2018 and included responsibility for installing legislative and package updates, performing year end and open enrollment activities, and troubleshooting daily interfacing and reporting for HR and payroll within Workforce Central 7.0. The project lead role consolidated technical ownership for the migration, coordinating configuration and cutover preparation for the Core HR application.
The implementation centered on Core HR functional scope, including employee master records, benefits open enrollment workflows, year end processing, and integration points to HR payroll reporting. Configuration work encompassed application of legislative updates and package releases to ensure compliance, along with reconfiguration of payroll and timekeeping interfaces as part of the platform transition. Workflows for interfacing and reporting were instrumented to preserve HR payroll data flows into downstream payroll systems.
Operational coverage included IT, HR, and payroll functions supporting Allied Services approximately 3500 employees in the United States, with the Kronos administrator acting as the primary operational owner for ongoing patching and troubleshooting. Governance emphasized package update management, scheduled legislative release application, and coordination of open enrollment and year end cycles to align business processes with UKG Dimensions HR. The narrative reflects a focused migration and operationalization effort of UKG Dimensions HR within a healthcare employer context.
