In 2019, Ambea deployed Benify Benefits as a benefits and total rewards platform, branded internally as Ambea For Me. Benify Benefits is used as a Benefits Administration solution to centralize payslip access, benefits allowance management and enrollment workflows for frontline care staff. Ambea is one of the leading care companies in the Nordics, with approximately 26,000 employees across elderly care, housing support and education, many of whom do not have daily access to a work computer.
The tailor-made Ambea For Me configuration includes core Benefits Administration capabilities, a payslip viewer, benefits allowance consumption, benefit enrollment interfaces, and an integrated communication engine. Administrative users in communications and HR have rights to create targeted campaigns, sending email, in-platform messages and push notifications through Benify’s mobile app. The platform consolidates benefits lifecycle workflows with employee communications to support enrollment, payslip distribution and welfare program administration.
Operational deployment is mobile-first, with most employees accessing Ambea For Me via smartphone, and the platform is used as a complement to the company intranet to reach distributed frontline workers. The communications and marketing department uses the system for timely operational updates and culture building, including weekly CEO video messages during the coronavirus outbreak, demonstrating the platform's use for both transactional and engagement workflows.
Governance is implemented through role-based administrative rights for communications and HR to target employee segments, and messaging channels are used to reach employees who lack intranet access. Reported outcomes include faster ability to reach employees on their mobile phones, increased opportunities to build culture, raise engagement and create a sense of community, and a channel to quickly deliver important updates and highlight positive examples across the business.
