Oracle Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise Oracle NetSuite ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2023 2024
In 2023, Amerapex Corporation migrated from Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise to Oracle NetSuite ERP as its core financial system. The deployment targeted the ERP Financial footprint for a 250 employee, construction and real estate firm and centralized core accounting workflows into a single cloud-native ledger and subledger architecture. The Oracle NetSuite ERP implementation focused on full-cycle accounts receivable capabilities, including invoicing, collections, payment application, customer account reconciliation, revenue recognition controls, saved searches and financial reporting. Configuration work reflected project-driven billing and job costing patterns, with month-end close activities automated through journal entry templates and reconciliations to support timely financial reporting. Operational integration emphasized billing validation with project managers, and collaboration between finance, operations and sales to resolve disputes and short payments, consistent with the role requirements for an Accounts Receivable Specialist proficient in NetSuite. The deployment included configuration of customer master data, credit limits, billing terms and statement generation, and was designed to accept inputs from project and operational sources to support progress billing and complex invoicing structures. Governance changes centered on AR workflow ownership and process documentation, with the Accounts Receivable Specialist role responsible for invoice generation, payment application, collections follow up and month-end reporting tasks in Oracle NetSuite ERP. Controls around reconciliations, dispute investigation and saved searches for AR aging and cash application were implemented to align operational processes with the new ERP Financial platform.
