In 2018, AmTrust Financial Services implemented Oracle Cloud ERP to centralize ERP Financial processes across treasury, procure to pay, accounts payable, expense management, and cash accounting. The Oracle Cloud ERP deployment was positioned as the companywide ERP Financial backbone to standardize end to end finance workflows and enable centralized controls across regions and business functions.
Implementation covered full Procure to Pay lifecycle governance, global bank reconciliation and cash accounting configuration, and expense management via Oracle Cloud iExpense. As global process owner for Procure to Pay, AmTrust ran two full global implementation cycles of Oracle Cloud ERP, designing end to end P2P processes, executing user testing and training with regional teams, and embedding invoice automation and virtual payment capabilities into AP workflows.
The program integrated Oracle Cloud ERP with treasury operations and bank connectivity, using Kyriba Treasury Management System and bank portals for reconciliation, cash visibility, and bank account administration. The treasury team launched a three tier preferred banks structure to support regional banking strategy, bank account rationalization, payment centralization, and selection of bank partners to deliver prepaid card, virtual card, and mobile payment options for claims and premium collections.
Governance and process transformation responsibilities were formalized, including SOX control ownership, partnership with internal audit to close control gaps, and automation of quarterly bank account and user entitlement attestations and reporting. Centralization initiatives consolidated North America Accounts Payable and a Global T&E team, and established the companys first Global T&E Policy with regional addendums through Oracle Cloud iExpense.
Outcomes explicitly documented during the Oracle Cloud ERP rollouts included consolidation and centralization of North America Accounts Payable with a reported 50% reduction in operating cost, elimination of paper invoices and reduction in check payments through virtual card adoption, cleanup of past due unclaimed property liabilities with minimized state penalties, and automated attestations to strengthen control and reporting.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, AmTrust Financial Services implemented Workday Absence Management to centralize its Absence and Leave Management capability. The deployment supported payroll and absence administration for more than 7,000 employees across 48 states, aligning absence tracking with enterprise payroll and HR processes.
Workday Absence Management was configured alongside Workday Time Tracking and Payroll workflows to manage PTO accruals, absence requests, time clock event audits, and absence discrepancy resolution. Functional workstreams included custom payroll audits and reporting, absence adjudication tied to payroll runs, and the processing of severance and leave-related pay events within the Workday absence and time modules.
The implementation was integrated operationally with external payroll processing platforms, including a transition to ADP through OneSource Virtual and later ADP Smart Compliance and ADP Streamline, requiring file integrations and programming between Workday Payroll and external vendors. Operational coverage extended across Payroll, HRIS, HR Business Partners, Employee Relations, Legal, and Finance, with post-payroll general ledger and payroll register reporting delivered to the Chief Financial Officers of AmTrust and acquired entities.
Governance emphasized data integrity and control, with regular audits of time and absence data, documented controls and post-payroll reconciliation processes, and training for payroll and HR staff. The HRIS and payroll teams collaborated on ongoing Workday feature enhancements, cross-departmental process improvements, and regulatory compliance activities such as Department of Labor multiple worksite unemployment insurance reporting.

| InsurePay | Legacy | InsurePay Pay-as-you-go | Insurance Billing Administration | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2023 | 2023 |
In 2023 AmTrust Financial Services deployed InsurePay Pay-as-you-go within the Insurance Billing Administration category to enhance workers' compensation billing and the policyholder payment experience across the United States. The engagement was announced in November 2023 and focused on operationalizing pay-as-you-go billing for workers' compensation portfolios.
InsurePay Pay-as-you-go was configured to ingest real-time payroll feeds and to support flexible payment options for policyholders, aligning billing orchestration with payroll-triggered premium recognition. The implementation included reconciliation workflows and billing administration controls typical of Insurance Billing Administration solutions, enabling automated posting of payroll-derived premiums and streamlined invoicing cycles.
The deployment integrated InsurePay connectivity that provides access to more than 2,000 payroll connections, enabling near real-time payroll data flows into AmTrust billing processes. Operational coverage emphasized billing operations and policyholder payment servicing across AmTrust's United States footprint, with interfaces designed for ongoing payroll feed ingestion and payment routing.
Governance centered on centralized reconciliation and operational change to billing workflows to accommodate continuous payroll feeds and flexible payment plans. The change delivered improved reconciliation and operational efficiency as stated in the source announcement, with rollout and go live communicated publicly in November 2023.
