The implementation positioned symplr API Core HR & Payroll as the centralized platform for employee master data and bi-weekly payroll processing for about 5,500 employees. Functional coverage emphasized core HR administration, payroll calculation workflows, pay cycle orchestration and the ability to support complex role and pay structures common in healthcare payroll operations. The project integrated time capture with Compass Time and Attendance to create an API-driven time to pay flow, synchronizing hours and exceptions into symplr for payroll computation. Architecture relied on API synchronization between the timekeeping layer and the core HR and payroll engine, centralizing processing across Annapolis and other hospital locations. Governance and operational rollout established centralized payroll and HR process controls to standardize payroll cycles and HR record keeping across clinical and nonclinical sites. The program focused on aligning HR, payroll operations and site timekeeping teams to sustain consistent bi-weekly payroll processing across the enterprise.
