The system supported business functions across Finance and Accounting, and its design accommodated interfaces for payroll accounting and benefits cost allocation consistent with ERP Financial integration patterns. Governance centered on centralized finance and IT stewardship for chart of accounts and authorization roles, with process redesign to standardize accounting workflows and month end procedures. Ongoing application ownership and HR systems alignment were managed by internal teams responsible for SAP HCM and adjacent HR applications, ensuring continuity of master data and transactional consistency between HR and the ERP Financial platform.

Governance and workflow changes were formalized to support verification and audit controls, including second verification of price loads and GPO transitions, management of a shared GroupPurchasing-US and PricingAdmin-US inbox for exceptions, weekly GPO meetings with Sales, periodic audit updates to leadership, and processes to notify field teams of new pricing, PA and PSA setups. The implementation also supported territory alignment and acquisition and merger roster vetting activities, and was configured to feed Pricing, Contracts and Sales workflows without reference to any prior named platform.
