| IBM | Legacy | IBM Maximo | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016 Arctic Paper engaged Enfo to implement IBM Maximo as an Enterprise Asset Management solution at its Arctic Paper Grycksbo mill in Dalarna. The engagement was framed around Enfo’s pre-packaged All the way to value concept, combining best practice processes, key performance indicators and IBM Maximo to optimize maintenance operations and support production availability.
The IBM Maximo implementation focused on core Enterprise Asset Management capabilities, including asset register consolidation, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling and KPI instrumentation tailored to mill maturity. Configuration followed Enfo’s maturity-based template so standard functional workflows and maintenance KPIs were embedded from the outset, enabling consistent planning and execution of maintenance activities.
Enfo integrated its BI solution based on QlikView alongside IBM Maximo to deliver up-to-date decision-making data for the whole maintenance operation, allowing maintenance managers to prioritize improvement work. The deployment was delivered as a one-stop solution for the Grycksbo site and included a long-term support and management agreement together with Enfo’s flexible Maximo licensing model, which the vendor positioned to provide lower cost and higher flexibility for Arctic Paper Grycksbo.
Governance for the rollout emphasized continuous improvement in availability, service and cost-efficiency, with Enfo providing both system support and commercial licensing arrangements. Arctic Paper characterized the implementation as a means to contribute to long-term value creation at the Grycksbo mill, aligning maintenance processes and operational reporting to drive more focused improvement activities.
