Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2020 2020
In 2020 Arkansas Heart Hospital implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as a core ERP Financial platform to centralize finance and supply chain operations across its two hospitals and approximately 30 clinics. The implementation targeted a single source of truth for accounting, budgeting, planning, and materials management, addressing prior fragmentation that included MedSeries4, Insights, and Ripplestone as operational systems that relied on manual workarounds. The deployment included the Oracle Cloud suite, with Oracle Cloud ERP integrated alongside Oracle EPM Cloud and Oracle SCM Cloud to digitize and automate critical workflows. Functional modules configured and adopted included general ledger and accounting, accounts payable and invoicing, purchasing and procurement, inventory control and lot management, payment processing, and reporting and budgeting capabilities consistent with ERP Financial requirements. Integration work focused on consolidating data flows and automating previously manual processes across finance and materials management, enabling real-time visibility into transactions, inventory replenishment, and PPE tracking. The project also used a cloud-centric deployment architecture that centralized transactional processing and reporting on Oracle Cloud ERP while federating planning workloads to Oracle EPM Cloud and supply chain execution to Oracle SCM Cloud. Governance and organizational change emphasized a people-centric Kaizen approach delivered in partnership with Apps Associates, including structured training, rapid adoption through an Accelerated Time to Value framework, and project transparency via a vendor project management portal. Post go-live support and continuous improvement were formalized through an ongoing support engagement to sustain workflow automation and to refine governance around monthly close, budgeting cycles, and procurement approval workflows. Outcome statements from the program indicate streamlined financial close and reporting, reduced manual processing across accounts payable, purchasing, and inventory, and a unified platform that improved visibility for decision making. The Oracle Cloud ERP implementation supported operational scaling during expansion activities, including a new medical center, an out-of-state clinic, and a new warehouse facility, while improving inventory accuracy, lot control, and replenishment processes.

eClinicalWorks Legacy eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR Electronic Health Record ERP Services and Operations n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, Arkansas Heart Hospital implemented eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR, an Electronic Health Record, to support its cardiology-focused practice and to centralize clinical documentation and patient engagement workflows. Arkansas Heart Hospital operates a 100-bed specialty hospital in Little Rock, employs more than 85 medical professionals including cardiologists and surgeons, and maintains 33 outreach clinics statewide serving thousands of patients. The eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR deployment included on-site training and a free data conversion process, and delivered custom-made worksheets and feature configurations specifically targeted at the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Providers were trained on mobile and messaging tools and clinicians received embedded analytics functionality within eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR, enabling clinical documentation and communication workflows that reduced the need to hire medical scribes. Operational coverage spanned clinical departments focused on cardiology and associated diagnostics, encompassing physicians and clinicians at the main hospital and across the statewide outreach network. Functional capabilities implemented included configured cardiovascular worksheets, mobile patient messaging, clinical documentation workflows, and analytics to support care management and diagnostic decision making. Rollout governance relied on vendor-led onsite training and a coordinated data conversion to standardize worksheets and workflows across sites and accelerate user adoption. Within two years of the eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR implementation the practice reported a 22% increase in patient volume and noted clinicians had improved access to analytics and mobile tools to support top-quality cardiac care.
