The Yousign API was embedded as a white label component to address an inconsistency where customers previously printed, signed and scanned documents, aligning electronic document management inside artis.net with a native signing flow. Artis is an ISV whose artis.net solution exposes more than 50 specific features including electronic signature and manages over one million contracts, making Digital Signing a core transactional capability for its customer base. The implementation configured Yousign API capabilities for signature invitations, automated reminders, OTP SMS strong authentication, and creation of a legally usable proof file. Artis validated flows using Yousign’s documented API and test environment before production, and the signing user experience was surfaced directly inside artis.net so signatories and internal users remain inside the ERP during the workflow. Integrations implemented include the artis.net ERP front end and archival linkage to CDC Arkhineo for long term storage, where the proof file linked to each signing procedure is retained for 10 years and remains accessible from the Yousign application. Operational coverage spans sales teams for quotes and proposals, logistics for delivery notes, and sales administration for maintenance and assistance contracts, and the signing capability is also available to artis.net customers such as Copwell. Governance and rollout prioritized an API-driven, white label embedding strategy that automated signature orchestration and enforced a balance between evidentiary strength and procedural lightness. Artis reported outcomes of automation, simplification and improved process fluidity, and cited strong authentication and archived proof files as elements that increased confidence in the signing process.
